As a Senior Data Analyst (GIS) you will be core to the successful delivery of in-flight and upcoming projects. You will be responsible for leading several delivery projects and ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and according to the clients’ specifications. 

As part of this, you will be required to:

  • Lead the end to end delivery of projects for clients as directed by the Head of Delivery, with minimal supervision.

  • Act as a point of escalation and resolving client requests or issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Effectively configure and manipulate data to meet client requirements in Neara’s software.

  • Deliver client training and onboarding as required post-project go-live.

  • Coach, train and mentor more junior team members, including conducting quality reviews of their work and helping in creating workflows for projects.

Job requirements


You’re degree qualified and you’ve had significant experience in delivering GIS-related and data-centric software solutions to customers, preferably within a growing SaaS solutions provider or professional services organization. You’re a self-learner, with an innate intellectual curiosity as well as exceptional attention to detail. You’re also an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to work cross-functionally to find innovative solutions to complex problems in systems configuration and data manipulation.

You will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Learn and master complex data-driven software solutions.

  • Deliver projects within tight deadlines and without compromising on quality.

  • Converse fluently in English both in writing and verbally.

  • Confidently work with 2D and 3D GIS data.

  • Work in excel at an advanced level including a working knowledge of logical, lookup and reference formulas

  • ETL and large scale geo-processing experience would be highly advantageous
